Waterfowl hunting is in my blood. I am honored to have been able to enjoy this sport for so many years and I truly enjoy spending the day in the blind with my son and grandson.

I have hunted ducks on Public Areas for the last 52 years. We have better decoys, better clothes and better equipment all around including the duck than years ago. Hal Stewart

My name is Hal Stewart, I'm 38 years old. I've been Waterfowl Hunting for about 28 years. My father, Hal, started my obsession with duck hunting the Mississippi River areas. He showed me how to hunt and shoot at a young age. I ENJOY ALL ASPECTS of the hunt from working on the blind, the many friends I have made, and teaching the younger kids how to hunt. I hunt 80 to 100 days a year. All the memories I've made makes it all worth it. I would like to thank: Mark Carey for making great sounding goose AND duck calls, and rest of my hunting buddies who brave the weather elements with me, and my wife Alisa for putting up with my hunting passion for the last 16 years.

Rhett Simpson

My name is Rhett Simpson. I was born and raised on a farm in Randolph County IL. As a child my father took me hunting for deer and small game. My interest in Waterfowl began at the age of 12 when my cousin Mark took me Goose Hunting for the first time. I can remember that first hunt as if it were yesterday. At that moment I knew Waterfowl Hunting would be a big part of my life. I have been hunting Ducks and Geese for 17 years now and every season that passes my passion grows stronger. My first Goose Call was a modified OLT-A50. I blew a variety of Flute Calls for 8 years and then switched to a Short Reed. I've owned a Foiles, Grounds, Big Guy Keller, and many other calls and my Fowl Obsession Cranked Up call is my favorite. It's the easiest to blow, takes the least amount of air, and is the goosiest call I have ever blown. I enjoy a good hunt with a well trained retriever. I currently have two labs Ammo & Drake who enjoy fetching up the Geese we kill. I've had the opportunity to hunt with Mark Carey for the past two seasons. I enjoy listening to him call and it has led me to change my calling methods. God willing their will be many more productive seasons in the future. See you in the field.

My name is Jeremy Rulo I am 29 years old I have lived in the Grafton, Illinois area my entire life. I have 20 years experience under my belt hunting Ducks and Geese and I hunt everyday of the Waterfowl Season. I'm the Father of 2 girls with another baby on the way. I'm married to an awesome woman who doesn't dispute me chasing my dreams and passions. Mark Wilson

My name is Mark Wilson.  My passion with Waterfowl started at the age of 12, when some good friends of mine, the late Ted Valentine and his son Ken, took me on a trip to his Goose Club in Reynoldsville, IL, near Union County Refuge.  From that moment on (35 years ago), I was hooked.  To be in the company of good friends, watching flights of Ducks and Geese work into the call, land in the decoys, and all of the excitement that goes with each hunt, is truly my obsession. I mainly hunt in Southwestern Illinois, along the Mississippi and Kaskaskia Rivers.  I started calling with an Olt A50.  Then years later, moved on to the modified Olt A50's, and learned a lot on creating the various sounds of the Canada Goose on Flute Calls.  I competed in 5 contests and placed in Top 5 on 3 occasions.  I met Mark Carey two years ago, and I can honestly say that this guy is the most down to earth person you will ever meet.  His obsession is helping others enjoy the sport of Duck and Goose Hunting.  His calls have the most realistic Goose and Duck tones than anything I have heard before.  I am proud and honored to represent Fowl Obsession Calls.  For all of those hunters and fishermen out there, make it a point to take someone new each year, especially a child, on hunting or fishing excursion.  Introduce them to what our natural resources have to offer and they will be rewarded with a lifetime of enjoyment in the outdoors.

Brent Masiero

My name is Brent Maseiero and I grew up and live in Central Illinois where I started hunting with my father and friends. My dad started taking me deer hunting at a young age and I began to Waterfowl Hunt with him when I was about 7. I attended Ranken Tech in St. Louis and now work in a steel shop. I love to deer and turkey hunt but my passion is to Waterfowl Hunt. I have met many people and made many friends over the years while hunting different areas. I met Mark a couple years ago and after trying his calls I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

Norby Schindler

My name is Norby Schindler. I started goose hunting with my dad on a small pond near my hometown of Jacksonville, IL. At only 10, I realized my obsession with goose hunting. I would spend hours practicing goose calling and thinking about waterfowl throughout junior high and high school. I was building, brushing, and hunting my own blinds at age 16. I have realized my hobby has become an obsession and I hunt every day of every goose season. My days revolve around goose hunting and scouting to see where my next limit will come from.

Brady Rau

My name is Brady Rau. I have been waterfowl hunting now for 15 years. I started out hunting local farm fields with friends. We then started a hunting club in Ware, Illinois and I hunted there for 10 years with great success. When I had my first child it was hard for me to travel that far to hunt. Mark Carey invited me to hunt with him at his place in Grafton, Illinois till I could find a spot closer to home. I found a farm field to lease in Southern Illinois and was given the opportunity to build and design my own waterfowl pit with Mark. I noticed while hunting with Mark that his calls sounded so much better than mine. That’s when he introduced me to Fowl Obsession calls. To this day I still blow Fowl Obsession calls. They are high quality and sound so natural. Mark and I still hunt together and we have had more success than ever.

Chris “THE HITMAN” Derhake

My name is Chris Derhake and I’m from Quincy, IL. I’ve been hunting waterfowl and anything else that moves since about the age of nine. Waterfowl consumes just about every aspect of my life. I’ve been competition Goose Calling for several years and have had several top five finishes. I enjoy helping anyone who is interested in learning to call and have helped all ages and experience levels improve their calling. I hunt mainly in the Mississippi River Bottoms, but chase birds whenever and wherever I have the opportunity.

My name is Bart Freeman and I have been lucky enough to have been brought up and surrounded by family and friends that all share the same obsession which is waterfowl hunting. My father started taking me hunting at a very young age as his father did and we have been hooked ever since. I have been blessed with a great wife and two wonderful sons that I know will carry this tradition on. I have known Mark and his family for many years as our fathers brought us up in the field as they still share this passion together as hunting partners today. Craig Sondker

Hello my name is Craig Sondker of Grafton Illinois. As of 2011 I
have hunted waterfowl for 42 years on the rivers and lakes of the
Midwest from Wisconsin to Arkansas and Tennessee to Kansas. My style
of preferred hunting has always been on public hunting areas where the
power of a good call is the deciding factor on whether a bird is in
hand or not. Never have I blown calls with so much duck and goose in
them as the line of Fowl Obsession Calls. From the long hail calls on
the open river to the soft chatter and short calls in the green timber
no call have I ever blown better than the Belly Up.
As for Mark and AJ (Gunner) I have hunted with and along side many
people in the marsh and never have I seen more dedicated hunters than
them. And it shows in the success of their blinds as well as the
blinds hunting around them. Also in the dedication they put into
making every call to perfection. It's an honor to have them as
friends in the marsh.

Jason Fulkerson

My name is Jason Fulkerson, and I live in Bonnie, IL right next to
Rend Lake. I have mostly hunted the Rend Subs for 19 years. I enjoy
all aspects of Waterfowling, but what I enjoy the most is watching the
birds react to your call. I like the challenge of trying to fool 'em.
